We’ve improved the user signup and invitation process in TrapTagger, making it much quicker and easier to add new users to your organisation.
Previously, adding a new user involved several steps: the user first had to create a TrapTagger user account, after which an organisation administrator could send them an an invitation using their unique name – which would only come over the TrapTagger notification system. Thereafter, only once the user had accepted their invitation, could the administrator finally configure their access permissions within the organisation.
With this update, organisation administrators can now invite users directly using either their username or email address, whilst assigning the appropriate permissions at the same time.
- Existing users: If the invited email or user name is already associated with a TrapTagger account, the user will receive both a notification inside the platform and an email containing an invitation link. Once accepted, they will automatically be added to the organisation with the assigned permissions.
- New users: If the email address is not yet associated with a TrapTagger account, a sign-up invitation email will be sent. Following this invitation link will guide the user through creating their account, after which they will automatically be added to the organisation with the specified permissions.
